Expected to unveil 'rumpy', 'stumpy' and 'longy' sub-breeds
A project which is looking to map the genome of the Manx cat is progressing, but needs more cash to carry out its second set of tests.
It is attempting to find out why our nation's felines have evolved without a tail, and why a variation exists between the 'rumpy', 'stumpy' and 'longy' sub-breeds.
So far a healthy cat called Bonnag has had her genome mapped.
The project's head scientist Rachel Glover explains what the plan is now:

Immigration changes designed to stop exploitation by 'bad eggs'
Contingency budget for horse tram tracks 'significantly increased'
Nursery group wants to 'bridge the gap' for families of two-year-olds
Orchestra hoping to attract 'different kind of audience' at next concert
Planning Committee says temporary dental unit at hospital is 'government failure'
