Ribbon-cutter says MCU a win-win for all Islanders
The Manx Credit Union was offically launched earlier today (19 Jan) at its new offices on North Quay, Douglas.
It's been established as a community savings and lending group, run solely by volunteers for the benefit of it's members.
The MCU is offering 'ethical' saving options and 'affordable' loan services, with membership open to anyone over 16 who lives on the Island.
Colette Jacob is a retired health visitor who was invited to cut the ribbon at the event.
She says the enterprise is a win-win situation for all Islanders.
