Digital scanning to assess condition of structures
Work is being carried out to check the condition of the Manx crosses.
A project to digitally scan all of the structures will be useful to assess any changes to them in the future.
The initiative is being driven by Manx National Heritage, which has a duty of guardianship over the crosses.
Digital archaeologist with the firm Archaeovision, Gianna Gandossi explains the level of detail being recorded.
