Ned Maddrell speaks at 2pm
An annual lecture which focuses on the Manx language, culture and identity takes place this afternoon.
Tynwald Mills Conference Centre hosts the Ned Maddrell lecture at 2pm.
Dr Cassie Smith-Christmas will explain the extent to which parents pass down Scottish Gaelic to their children.
It will also offer tips to help Manx speaking parents share the language with their children.
