No injuries but vehicle burnt out
A tour bus used by the Manx cyclist Mark Christian and teammates has been torched in an apparent arson attack.
Irish side Aqua Blue Sport are currently out on the road for the Vuelta a Espana, which concludes in Madrid on 10 September.
The bus was parked up outside a hotel in Almeria, Spain ahead of the twelfth stage race yesterday (Thu).
But that morning, competitors found the vehicle burnt out.
No one was injured, and a replacement vehicle was drafted.
A spokesperson for the team thanked fans for their support, adding 'nothing is going to stop [them]' competing in the tour.
Christian is currently in 159th position overall.
