Tech-minded filmmakers scoop LA gong
An illustrious science film award has been given to a 'groundbreaking' part-Manx documentary in Los Angeles - heralded by notable industry leaders.
The University chronicles the achievements of students driving exponential technologies over a 10-year period.
It won Best Documentary in the Industry Awards category of the Raw Sciences Film Festival - held at Fox Studios.
The programme fuses the best in film, science and space industry talent - led by two Island producers, and a director with Manx family.
In it, students directly address the changes wrought by emerging technologies impacting our lives a decade ahead of time.
Producer and CEO of ManSat Chris Stott gave us his reaction to the news.
