Private performance for daughter following cancer treatment
A Manx family who were treated to a private performance by an American rock band say they were 'absolutely blown away' by the experience.
The Roberts have spent the last six weeks in Manchester whilst daughter Grace underwent treatment for cancer.
The Willow Foundation, which fulfils uplifting special days, set up a meet and greet with their favourite band The Killers ahead of a gig they were due to go to that night.
Mum Angela says they didn't realise what that would entail:
At the gig, at Old Trafford on Saturday night, elder daughter Katie also had the opportunity to play the drums live on stage with the band.
She performed in front of 80,000 people, and told Manx Radio it was something she won’t forget:
