Determined Steven inspired to cross the line by work of local charities
A man who finished the London Marathon with a broken foot says it was probably three of the most uncomfortable hours in his life.
Eight miles into the race, Steven Quayle, who was running for Hospice and Postive Bones, stood on plastic bottle, causing a bone in his foot to break.
It also led to a tear in his calf muscle and a sprain in his hip.
However, he endured his injuries for another eighteen miles and remarkably crossed the line in under four hours.
He told Manx Radio what kept him going:

Peel bar impacted by bus strikes
Care funding reform report delayed following ministerial change
Charity plans baby loss memorial garden at Noble's Hospital
New rights for neonatal care leave and carer's leave on the way
Manx Wildlife Trust launches new internship programme
