Manx Gaelic to be added to Google Translate

"It almost went extinct", says Google

Manx Gaelic is going to become available on Google Translate.

The ancient Celtic language is one of 110 being added to the online service.

Google says it's building artificial intelligence models that support the 1,000 most spoken languages in the world.

Manx will be added alongside languages like Cantonese and Punjabi, bringing the total available on the translation service to 243.
