Possible confusion over banded charging system
Manx Gas is apologising to around 3,500 of its customers after they received duplicate letters relating to the new banded charging system.
Director Stuart Crossman says they made a commitment to all customers to monitor and review their consumption on an annual basis to ensure that the banding level is accurate and fairly reflects the volume of gas used.
Unfortunately, due to an administrative error, a small minority of customers received duplicate letters in error.
Mr Crossman says “This may have led to some confusion and we apologise for the error. We have identified affected customers and will be clarifying their position in a new letter to them early next week."
Any customers with immediate queries should contact Manx Gas directly.
