Customer protection measures included
The Managing Director of Manx Gas is welcoming the chance to put a new user agreement in place as soon as possible.
The Manx Government served notice the current deal will end with the publication of the Chief Minister's Gas Regulatory Review Committee report.
Manx Gas boss Ian Plenderleith says the way banded standing charges were introduced was handled badly and didn't meet the "person in the street test".
He believes the new deal should match the recent arrangement agreed with Manx Utilities, and go even further to protect the customer:
