David Cruddace joined company on 30 June
Negotiations between government and Manx Gas have been "refreshingly honest," and are progressing "rapidly," according to the company's boss.
David Cruddace became the CEO of the Islands Energy Group, which owns Manx Gas, on 30 June.
Government is set to bring the terms of a new deal to Tynwald in October, and Mr Cruddace says both sides now just want a swift finish to what have been lengthy and complex negotiations:
