Glasgow-based doctor among first Manx nationals to receive jab
A Glasgow-based GP from the Isle of Man thought to be the first Manx national to receive the Pfizer Biontech coronavirus vaccine says she didn't hesitate when offered the jab.
Rebecca Vaughan was born and raised in Laxey before moving to Scotland at 18 to pursue her medical career.
Being a frontline healthworker she was one of the first in line to receive the vaccine as part of the UK government's roll out.

Meanwhile, people who suffer an anaphylactic reaction to drugs or certain foods are being advised not to have the Pfizer vaccine.
Director of Public Health Dr Henrietta Ewart confirmed the position locally after two key workers in the UK had a bad reaction after having the injection last week.
