First MGP action since 2019
The Manx Grand Prix returned to the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course today (21 August) for the first time since 2019.
Brian McCormack set the fastest lap of the first qualifying session with a lap of 120.164mph in the Classic Superbike class on his Greenall Racing Kawasaki.
James Hind (Lightweight), John McGuinness MBE (Senior Classic), Stephen Smith (Senior) and Chris Moore (Junior) topped the other leader boards.

More qualifying will take place tomorrow (22 August) – roads around the Mountain Course will close at 6pm.
Senior and Classic Superbike qualifying is due to take place from 6.20pm and Junior, Lightweight and Classic Senior from 7.10pm.
Roads will open no later than 9pm.
