'Split second' reaches 225.4mph
The Manx land speed record was broken yesterday (Sat 1).
'Split Second' is the headline attraction at this weekend's Straightliners Jurby Drag Racing event, which enters its final day today, at the Jurby airfield.
It's a flaming, parachute-deploying jet car driven by Julian Webb.
And footage has been uploaded to social media of the car climbing to 225.4mph from a standing start.
