'King Orry and the Itchy Pillow' teaches about impact of allergies
There's a new way to teach young children about allergies, and it has a very Manx twist.
Jules Sum is a local allergy awareness advocate and mum to a five year old who has multiple life threatening food allergies, which were diagnosed shortly after birth.
Jules has written a book called "King Orry and the Itchy Pillow" which introduces the concept of allergies in a simple way.
It will be released on 21 June.
The illustrations have been done by Island based designer Kim Gee and Jules says the Manx link was a priority:
The book is available for pre-order on Amazon Kindle here, and you can find out more about the campaign work Jules does by visiting the Just Ask Facebook page.
