Sculpture Yn Arreyder is being re-installed
A sculpture by Manx artist Bryan Kneale is to be returned to its plinth in the grounds of the Manx Museum today (25 February).
Yn Arreyder ('The Watcher') had been in place for nearly 40 years before it was removed just under a year ago to undergo a detailed condition assessment.
It will now be back in position keeping watch over Douglas Bay after a period of specialist conservation treatment.
As a result, the footbridge between Chester Street car park and the Manx Museum will be closed to all pedestrians between 2pm and 4pm.
Manx National Heritage has apologised 'for any inconvenience caused'.
