Mera Royle and group Imar win BBC Folk Awards
There's been great success for Manx musicians at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
Harpist Mera Royle won the Young Folk Award and Group Imar picked up the Horizon Award at the ceremony in Belfast last night (Wed)
Folk group Alaw also made it through to the finals with their track "Lisa Lan" a nominee for the best traditional track of the year.
The awards evening was held at Belfast's Waterfront Concert Hall and presented by star of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show, Mark Radcliffe.
Mera and Imar will now have a chance to perform at major folk festivals across the UK.
