Shoot fuels interest in new series
A filming trip to the Island by a well-known BBC motoring show has fueled anticipation for its next series.
The Top Gear team visited various Manx locations over the weekend, which saw public roads closed for the duration.
One stunt required the use of a £90,000 Russian all-terrain vehicle, the Avtoros Shaman, which was spotted snaking through the streets of Castletown before staging a mock rescue on the nearby Cringle Reservoir.
Presenter Matt LeBlanc was also pictured getting to grips with the vehicle and joking with crew members in between shoots.
It's not the first time the show has featured Manx roads - former presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have visited several times to film previous series.
The new episodes of Top Gear are scheduled to air in early 2017.
