Jane and her friend group hope to continue swimming throughout this year
A Manx resident has taken to the sea every single day throughout 2023, as part of efforts to raise funds for a charity supporting those with dementia.
Jane Adams and her swimming group have so far raised more than £2,300 but hopes to continue growing the total.
Data by Alzheimer's Research UK says the estimated cost of dementia in 2021 was £25 billion, a figure that is expected to almost double by 2050.
Jane hopes to encourage more people to go sea swimming in the New Year, and believes it's had positive effects on her health:
