DHSC working with UK counterparts to help Island residents access the scheme
Manx residents affected by the infected blood scandal will be able to apply for the recently established UK compensation scheme.
The Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed those in the Crown Dependencies are eligible for payments.
A recent public inquiry into the scandal, which resulted in the deaths of more than 3,000 people, recommended a financial compensation scheme be set up for victims of infected blood.
The DHSC says it will work with its counterparts in the UK to support Island residents seeking access to the scheme.
