Yesterday (20 February) Treasury Minister Alex Allinson successfully got his Budget through Tynwald.
It was backed by 18 MHKs with six voting against it; all of Legislative Council were in favour.
From April the higher rate of Income Tax is being raised from 20 percent to 22 percent to help pay for the NHS.
