Surprise at how much the death of Queen Elizabeth II has affected them and a sense that King Charles III will make a very good monarch.
Those are some of the feelings Island residents have shared with Manx Radio ahead of the Queen's funeral today (19 September).
The late monarch visited the Island several times during her reign - including twice to preside over the annual Tynwald Day ceremony.
