Sources suggest the company will run the facility nearly year-round
Manx Radio understands the Department of Infrastructure is expected to announce a new operator for the Northern Civic Amenity Site.
Sources suggest Manx Rock Ltd is set to take over the running of the facility.
The company has also begun advertising roles at the site, stating it intends to operate 360 days a year.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper is due to raise a series of questions in the House of Keys this morning, including when the site will reopen, who the contractor is, how it will be governed and funded, how costs compare with the current model, and when local authorities were informed.
The current workforce is preparing the site at Balladoole to make way for the new contractor.
Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall is expected to make a statement where he will likely name Manx Rock Ltd.
Ramsey Commissioners have been running the site for the last year on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure.
The facility is due to reopen on Monday, 1 April.
