A new Facebook group is calling on the Manx government to end all trade with Israel during the current conflict in Gaza.
Campaigners calling themselves the Manx Action Group for Gaza have launched an online petition, criticising the Island's government for staying silent over Israeli military action.
However, the Isle of Man's external relations are in the hands of the United Kingdom and government has confirmed it cannot impose an international sanctions regime of its own.
The group has set a target of 3000 signatures - so far 60 people have added their names to the petition.
