Nine metre tall structures would help deliver Fibre
Manx Telecom is seeking planning permission to install six telegraph poles in Ballamillaghyn in Braddan.
The company says it looked at underground ducting but there isn't enough to cover all of the houses.
It says the plan is for the nine metre masts to support fibre broadband delivery for residents.
Manx Telecom says the overhead wires will be more than two metres above the houses and will be three metres above ground.
