Follows decision by UK Chancellor to halve air passenger duty
A local travel agent's calling on government to follow the UK Chancellor's decision to cut Air Passenger Duty.
The director of Freedom Travel says reducing the tax would be a welcome boost for the industry.
Yesterday it was announced APD will be halved on domestic flights between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland from April next year.
Treasury here responded by saying it has the situation under review.
