Amnesty International calls on local residents
Amnesty International has called on Manx voices to join British politicians, celebrities and street protesters in opposing the US President Donald Trump's travel ban.
The charity is rallying residents around the British Isles to actively express their opinions on the issue.
Mr Trump's Executive Order, to bring in strict border controls against people from seven mainly Muslim countries, has stirred controversy worldwide.
Amnesty Director Kate Allen says it's critical local people weigh in on international matters - even if it seems a world away to them:

Warmer than average May for Island
Increased DfE support 'to tackle rising costs and global pressures'
Police appeal after two motorcycles involved in collision
Childcare Credit payments to increase
