Staff on standby to deal with issues
Gale-force winds brought trees down and caused disruption to travel as Storm Barbara swept across the Island on Friday.
The Steam Packet cancelled its sailings this morning and many flights in and out of Ronaldsway faced lengthy delays or cancellations.
Things got back to normal later on, with flights resuming - albeit with some delays - and the Steam Packet confirming the Ben-my-Chree's evening sailing would go ahead as scheduled
The Department of Infrastructure had to clear a few fallen trees, and Manx Utilities had to restore power to a number of homes on the Island.
MU Director of Network Services Adrian Dobbins says the conditions didn't pose any major problems, though:
