13 countries working together on project
A scheme hoping to attract historical tourists to the Island has been given a boost by the European Union.
The Shetland Amenity Trust's "Follow the Viking" project got 1.96 million euros from the Creative Europe Culture grant.
The project sees 13 countries, including the Isle of Man, working together to promote their individual Viking histories.
Manx National Heritage director Edmund Southworth says it should attract people to the Island from al over the world:
