A Roger Smith watch has sold for $730,800 at an auction in New York.
It's a world record amount for the Isle of Man maker who is based in Ramsey.
The timepiece is a 2018 rare pink gold wristwatch with subsidiary seconds, co-axial escapement and engine-turned dial.
Meanwhile, a tourbillon pocket-watch from 1971 by the late George Daniels, who was also based in the Isle of Man, sold for $1,600,000 at the same auction.
