More than 1,200 birds cared for
A local charity has been reflecting on what it says has been a 'very busy year'.
Manx Wild Bird Aid says 1,208 birds were brought into its care over 2019, while around 150 orphaned baby birds hand-reared by its rehabilitators went on to eventual release.
It's also thanking all its loyal supporters and anyone who took time out of their busy day to tell the charity's volunteers about a bird in need.
Manx Wild Bird Aid says it will be recruiting more volunteers in the new year, so follow its Facebook page for more information.
