
A scheme to produce offshore energy in Isle of Man seas could bring huge benefits.
So says the Environment Minister who believes up to 60 jobs could be created if a government strategy is eventually implemented.
Tynwald this week gave its support in principle to proposals for offshore energy production in Manx waters.
That could pave the way for the development of wind farms, other marine renewables and hydrocarbon sources, in major projects visible from the Island.
