MLC hopes to harness young people's enthusiasm in politics
Efforts are being made by the Island's politicians to engage more younger voters in politics.
It's after a motion was put forward in Tynwald this afternoon seeking support for the introduction of a Manx Youth Parliament.
A committee will now determine exactly how it would be established and is set to report back to the chamber by October.
Tanya August Hanson - an MLC who tabled the motion - said giving young people a voice is vital:

Island's police supporting UK-wide operation led by Immigration Compliance
Plan for future of Hospice to be brought forward 'during this administration'
Firearms officers training underway in Douglas
Online gambling sector subject to more 'rigorous scrutiny' than ever before
Plans to create a 'people's mandate' for prospective election candidates
