Ben-my-Chree takes over passenger services for two and a half weeks
The Ben-my-Chree will be taking over the Manxman's passenger service for the next two and a half weeks while the Steam Packet Company's flagship undergoes essential inspections and maintenance.
As well as the planned work to the vessel, Manxman is due to carry out berthing trials at the new Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool from today.
The ferry operator says the vessel will have a short period in dry dock for a comprehensive inspection and work on warranty items, including addressing the results of the vibration monitoring.
Manxman had been due to complete her final passenger sailings before her maintenance break today, but the weather forecast means those crossings had to be cancelled.
The Ben-my-Chree comes into service at 8pm.
