Decision comes ahead of forecast gales hitting the Island this weekend
The Steam Packet Company has confirmed that this weekend's 'Round the Island Cruise' has been cancelled.
The Manxman was due to depart Douglas at 1pm on Sunday, but it says forecast gales 'would severely impact passengers' experience on board'.
The company says 'unfortunately, it is unable to reschedule the cruise to later in the year due to schedules and the reduction in daylight hours'.
It has 'sincerely' apologised 'for any disappointment caused' and thanked passengers for their understanding.
All customers booked on the trip will receive a full refund back to the payment method originally used.
