Wednesday overnight and Thursday daytime crossings called off
Tonight's Manxman sailing to Heysham, and subsequent overnight return, has been cancelled as well as tomorrow's daytime crossings.
The Steam Packet says they can't go ahead due to severe gales.
They make up a number of crossings from now until Christmas Eve which are in doubt due to the forecast adverse weather conditions.
The next sailing due to depart Douglas is now on Thursday evening at 7:45pm, though this is also subject to possible disruption/cancellation.
It's understood the Steam Packet is hoping to send the MV Arrow to deliver freight to the UK tonight, but it's not expected to be to return until early Friday morning.
