Paul received a commemorative plaque recently recognising his efforts to fundraising for The Rob Vine Fund
The Steam Packet Company's Manxman will sound its horns as she enters Douglas Harbour this evening, in tribute to its former chef who died yesterday.
Paul Turton fed the crew as the vessel sailed to the Isle of Man from Korea in May 2023.
Mr Turton also played a key role in collecting donations for the The Rob Vine Fund (RVF), which has raised £360,000 for medical equipment during motorsport events.
Last weekend, the RVF presented Paul with a commemorative plaque, thanking him for his dedication over the years.
His family will be on Douglas Head as Manxman returns, which is expected to be at 6.30pm.
