Room for 948 passengers but currently limited to 600
The Manxman will soon be able to sail at full capacity.
Since entering service, the Steam Packet's new vessel has been sailing with a passenger limit of 600 while final crew training was completed.
That's the capacity of the Ben-my-Chree - which has had to step in to cover Heysham sailings when wind-restrictions prevented the Manxman sailing.
Treasury Minister Alex Allinson told the House of Keys yesterday (24 October) that restrictions are about to change:
