Reptiles being left in ponds to die
A plea for abandoned terrapins from the ManxSPCA.
The charity is warning a number of the creatures are left in local ponds to 'die a slow death as non-natives in our Manx environment.'
People are being encouraged to take any of the unwanted animals to Ard Jerkyll to be housed and rehomed.
If anyone would like to rehome a terrapin they can contact the charity on 851 672 or email jane.gregory@manxspca.com.
