A delicate operation to re-position the antique Jubilee clock at the end of Victoria Street in Douglas continues (24 October).
The crux of the operation will be to lift the cast iron structure up and closer to the Jubilee Buildings onto a specially prepared plinth.
The landmark clock built in 1887 is being moved away from the edge of the carriageway as the promenade renovation continues.
After the top section is taken off, the rest of the elegant structure will be hoisted into the air and lowered onto its new resting place.
