Above normal 121.9 hours of sunshine
Although it was a rainy month, March brought above normal hours of bright sunshine, and the second mildest temperature on record.
Ronaldsway Meteorological Office has released it's monthly weather summary - which tells us Spring started early this year.
The mean maximum temperature was 10.6 degrees Celsius, only beaten in that month by March 2012, which recorded 11.4 degrees Celsius.
Pleasantly warm sunshine recorded a height of 13.4 degrees.
Rainfall, however, totalled 89.5mm, compared to the long-term mean of 66mm, and fog on six days of the month was double what was expected.
But we did enjoy 121.9 hours of sunshine - described by forecasters as 'above normal'.
