End of the markets in Market Hall
The future of the Market Hall in Douglas could soon become clearer.
Douglas Corporation has applied to revoke an order which means it must run a market in the facility.
If it is overturned, civic heads can then proceed with the possible sale of the market hall building.
It is currently home to a handful of businesses and the Isle of Man College operates its art degree programmes from the base.
Councillor David Ashford says closing it as a market is an obvious next step.
The others are Raina Chatel, Falk Horning and Kevin Oliphant-Smith.
