Marown Commissioners have agreed to reduce their rate for the next financial year by 2.3p.
It's a reduction of 1.255 per cent.

In a statement, it says the decrease is due to historic outstanding rates being collected, on its behalf, by government.
Commenting on Clause 5, the parish says it welcomes news that it will not be 'thrust upon the local authorities for the forthcoming municipal year.'
