Marshals needed for Festival of Motorcycling start

Saturday practice in doubt with shortage

There's a big threat to the Festival of Motorcycling starting on time this Saturday.

Unlike this year's TT, the problem is not the weather but a shortage of marshals.

The first practice session is scheduled to start shortly after roads close at 5pm.

But Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson says this won't happen unless people volunteer to help the "orange army".
