King Charles III declared Lord of Mann at open air ceremony
The Mayor of Douglas says the proclamation of King Charles III at Tynwald was a 'historic moment' to be involved in.
The new monarch was confirmed as Lord of Mann in a second proclamation this week.
The event came less than 10 weeks after St John's hosted the annual Tynwald Day ceremony.
Councillor Janet Thommeny was among those to sit on Tynwald Hill for the open-air ceremony:
