Month-long refurbishment underway
Fast-food chain McDonald’s will be closed in the Island for the next month.
Its restaurant shut at 9pm last night (Sunday) for a major refurbishment, including the creation of a self-service area.
A number of customers were unhappy after it ran out of food, including hamburgers and fries, in the hours leading up to 9pm.
The facility in Peel Road in Douglas will re-open on October 11.
