Traffic management in place on Peel Road
A popular fast-food restaurant is set to reopen today in some capacity.
McDonalds drive-thru service will re-start once again for the first time since March, when it was forced to shut due to the pandemic.
A reduced menu will be on offer, as fewer people will be working in the kitchen, and cones have been laid out along parts of Peel Road to manage traffic flow.
The drive-thru service will be open from 11am to 10pm, however the indoor seating will remain closed for the time being.
The IOM Constabulary has tweeted about the reopening saying traffic management will be in place and you'll only be able to enter in a vehicle from the Douglas direction.
Both McDonalds and police are asking customers to please wait responsibly as operations may move slower than usual to keep people safe.
