Message of hope delivered in End ME project
This week (24 May) Tynwald members were shown a detailed presentation of the crippling impact of M.E. on a person's life by Linda Tannenbaum.
She's the CEO of the Open Medicine Foundation in California.
On an international tour of 6 different countries, Mrs Tannenbaum is giving talks on the global 'End ME project', a concerted effort to eradicate the illness through ground-breaking research.
She was invited to the Island by the M.E. Support Group, who hope her visit will act as a catalyst for improvements in care for the estimated 350 local sufferers.
