Although many thousands of sandbags have been distributed, if you need to collect any more they can be collected on Douglas Promenade by the Empress Hotel, the Hilton Hotel, the Castlemona Shops and Strathallan Crescent.
In Castletown, sandbags are available from Hope Street, Victoria Road and the promenade near the James Road junction and they are also available on Ramsey Quayside – at the East Street, West Street and Christian Street junctions.
Bus services 1, 1A, 2, 6, 13 and 13A and the Ramsey town services are being diverted from 1pm when roads are closed.
